VideoSpace to live stream Nobel Prize Winner!

VideoSpace is proud to announce that we will be live streaming Nobel Prize Laureate Sir Andre Geim in an exclusive event hosted by University of Manchester.

This exclusive event titled "‘In conversation’ with the President & Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dame Nancy Rothwell and Nobel Prize winner Professor Sir Andre Geim" will be held at The Fullerton Hotel, Singapore on 4th April 2016. 

Professor Sir Andre Geim won the Nobel Prize for Physics in 2010 for the ground-breaking discovery of wonder material Graphene. He was also awarded the Copley Medal in 2013 for “numerous scientific contributions and, in particular, for initiating research on two-dimensional atomic crystals and their artificial heterostructures” and the Niels Bohr Medal in 2011 for “outstanding contributions to the development of physics”, among many other awards. He holds Kinghthoods from the Netherlands (C.N.L. 2010) and the UK (Kt 2012).

Professor Dame Nancy Rothwell has been President and Vice-Chancellor of The University of Manchester since 2010. She was elected Fellow of the Royal Society in June 2004 and made Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire in June 2005, in recognition of her services to science. She also co-Chairs the Prime Minister’s Council for Science and Technology and is a Deputy Lieutenant for Greater Manchester.
